THE ASSEMBLY LINE -OCT. 2022
IMPORTANT NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Welcome back to The Assembly Line! Let’s start with some overall news!
THE HELLFIRE TANK IS NEARLY DONE! Wahoooo!
This last month the PDS workshop saw some renovations and upgrades! More on this below!
~15 new models are all reaching a finish line around the same time, I’m hopeful to release a ton of new content this month :)
RECENT UPCOMING RELEASES
September didn’t see any new products hit the store due to a lot of workshop renovations and other personal events, BUT it was a month for modelling!
Checkout the images below to see what will be hitting the store in October!
UPCOMING CONTENT
Every month I’d love to give you a glimpse into the future!
As many of you know I work full-time and that work for PDS only happens in my free time. As such, when it comes to working on different projects I tend to chase what’s most captivating to me in the moment. This helps me stay motivated and engaged with my work, and it goes a long way to help prevent burnout!
Here are some near future glimpes for you that are intentionally cryptic:
A passion project in the form of a tall, two-legged walking mech proxy
Two rings to rule them all, and a bunch of missiles to accompany them!
A nostalgia-filled hover ride
Potentially a whacky, Seussian-style Roger Roger adventure vehicle
A plunger bot
A fighting space for pigs
And so much more!
STUDIO SPACE NEWS
This last month saw a lot of changes to my studio space I have in my basement as I continue to try and make the space more efficient and useful.
New grow tent to contain and extract resin printing fumes from the basement
New table for the resin printing station
New permanent photgraphy station
New lighting for the spray booth
Design and plan for shelving around my painting desk to improve organization
New room layout to give every stage of my process a permanent home
New spin table for filming 360 videos of products!
COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
Every month I would love to spotlight the amazing members of the PDS community who share images of their various print and paints of my models!

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL CHARITY DONATION NEWS
So far this year we’ve raised over $788 of my $1000 goal for 2022!
Every year I participate in an event-focused fundraiser called ExtraLife playing video games for 24 hours straight while raising funds for my local Children’s Hospital, Children’s Wisconsin!
The 24 hour gaming event is coming up on November 5th! So mark your calendars to hang out with me on Twitch that night! https://www.twitch.tv/pocketdimstudio
Throughout the year I also donate sales of various models on my storefront to my ExtraLife profile page: https://www.extra-life.org/participant/PocketDimStudio
FEATURED MODEL THROWBACK
Every month I’d love to feature an older model of mine and give you a little more information on its creation!
The Water Vapor Automobile
One of my favorite collabs I’ve ever done! I made the ship, and David Sheff from Squamous Miniatures made the pilots!
Turns out the canon listed length of this ship is wrong! Or at least, I think it is. I sized it to fit a person and look closer to the movie in proportions. Turns out it’s not much different in size than a snow speeder!
This is still one of my favorite proxies for the snow speeder when I play and I’m currently working on an alternate paint job for the second one I printed up.
Find it here: https://store.pocketdimensionstudios.com/l/WaterVaporAutomobile
And the pilots here: https://squamousminiatures.gumroad.com/l/mkVzz
David has also made a whole range of Cloud based products, so definitely check them out too!
THANK YOU FOR READING!
